Data Security Solutions to Present Seminar
at Simsbury Public Library
Seminar focuses on threats to
small-medium size businesses
Simsbury, Connecticut, January 6, 2007 - Data Security
Solutions, LLC, a leader in delivering security solutions to the
small and medium sized business market, today announced the firm
will be offering a free seminar for small and medium size businesses
in the Farmington Valley at the Simsbury Public Library on January 24,
from 6:30PM-8:30PM..
"This seminar is an extension of the
services the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce offers to its members"
said Jennifer Keohane, Business Outreach Librarian for the Simsbury
Public Library.
"The first two seminars offered to Chamber members were
so successful, we decided it would be beneficial to the business
community to offer the two previous seminars as a single two
hour seminar" says

Anyone who uses a computer in their business is encouraged to
attend this workshop to learn about anti-virus, anti-spy ware,
anti-Spam, and firewall tools to protect their business
equipment and information. Joe O’Donnell will present an
overview of options for securing data from various threats such
as viruses, general mal-ware, Trojans, Spam, phishing Spam, and
general spy ware. Proper definitions for each category will be
discussed as well as practical approaches toward security.
The program is free of charge, open to the public and will be
held in the Program Room of the Simsbury Public Library at 725
